As a member of Swaprock you can swap your Dvds, Cds, video games and books (items) with other members. It’s fun, easy and safe. Let's not forget, it is also cheaper than any retailer, iTunes, Amazon or Blockbuster - and there's no over inflated postage costs, like on some auction sites.
Here’s how it works…
As a Swaprock member you can Request an item from another member or you can Send a listed item to another member.
Requesting Member
Step 1 – Find the item on Swaprock that you want by using our search facility or by going directly to a specific category your interested in – music , movies, games or books.
Step 2 – When you find an item you want, simply request that item from the member who has listed it by clicking on it. Each item listed will have a point value and that's all you pay for that item - Points! It’s a safe, non-cash system where you do not exchange any money, credit-card , or bank account details with other members. Swaprock charges you only $1.00 for the trade – that’s it. There is no bidding, no auctions and no surprises.
Step 3 – The Member you requested the item from will ship it directly to you FREE! All members are subject to a user feedback rating, so this helps ensure members do the right thing by other members. Your account will then be deducted the points value of the item you requested and these will be credited to the sending member’s account.
How Do You Get Points?
EASY! There are 3 ways…
1) Simply list as many items on Swaprock that you want to sell. You place a points value for each item you list. For example let’s say you list a new release Dvd for a value of five (5) points.
Another member can request that Dvd from you for five(5) points. You simply send it to the requesting member in the mail and then your account is credited five(5) points. The more items you send out, the more points you earn to buy items that you want from other Swaprock members.
2) You can also buy points from Swaprock for $1.00 each.
3) This is a great way to earn massive points for FREE! As a member of Swaprock you are automatically given a unique Associate ID referral link. What you do is send out an email to all your friends telling them about Swaprock and how they can join. In your email you place your unique Associate ID link that will direct your friends to the Swaprock site. You can simply use our Tell a Friend page to do this automatically for you.
Now, because it’s a unique ID link, Swaprock can track how many people you refer to the site and, for each person that joins, you get 2 points! So lets say you refer 10 people who join Swaprock- that's 10 x 2 = 20 points added to you account for FREE!
You can track how many people you have refered and how many FREE points you have earned in your own personal members account management section. There is a visitors refered link there that displays all this information for you. Nice, Easy and Fun!
